The Cygnet that went missing, the one we thought had flown away, had actually been taken into the care of the R.S.P.C.A.
The Cygnet swallowed a fishing hook and line and was taken into care earlier this month.
The Cygnet was brought back to Llanfairfechan where they will closely monitor his progress. The R.S.P.C.A became concerned about the Cygnet when they found high levels of 'Lead' in his blood.
The Aberconwy Branch of the R.S.P.C.A which are based at Llandudno Junction has done a wonderful job of looking after the Swans and Cygnets this year. The R.S.P.C.A have a mobile clinic that visits Llanfairfechan every Thursday.
